The Concierge position at The Belgrove is an impactful role that invites individuals with an outgoing personality and a passion for hospitality to join the team. As a welcoming ambassador of the hotel, the Concierge provides guests with personalized assistance, expert local knowledge, and information about area attractions and services to ensure a memorable stay. This role requires excellent communication skills, customer service prowess, and the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment. By coordinating activities, handling inquiries, and resolving guest concerns with professionalism and discretion, the Concierge contributes directly to the overall guest experience and upholds the brand’s high standards.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience in customer service preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong knowledge of the local area and amenities
  • Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
  • Must be able to stand for long periods
  • Availability to work weekends, holidays, and variable shifts
  • Basic computer proficiency
  • Strong problem-solving abilities
  • Positive attitude and professional demeanor

Job Duties

  • Greet customers immediately with a friendly and sincere welcome
  • Provide accurate information about local attractions, outlet operation hours, car rentals, shuttle services, and meeting rooms
  • Promptly answer telephone calls and take clear messages
  • Retrieve and deliver mail, small packages, and facsimiles as requested
  • Arrange and confirm recreation, business, and dining activities for guests
  • Assist and serve guests in the Concierge Lounge, including food and beverage service
  • Field and resolve guest complaints through thorough research and effective problem-solving
  • Maintain composure and alertness during emergency situations and heavy hotel activity
  • Plan and implement detailed service steps with experienced judgment and discretion
