Job Description

Oakmont Gardens is a distinguished senior living community located in Santa Rosa, California, dedicated to providing an exceptional living experience for seniors and their families. The community emphasizes a warm, welcoming atmosphere where residents can enjoy not only comfortable living spaces but also compassionate and professional support from a dedicated team. Oakmont Gardens is known for its commitment to hospitality, respect, and quality service, creating a supportive environment that fosters respect, dignity, and well-being for all residents. With a strong focus on community involvement and personalized care, Oakmont Gardens offers a blend of independent living and assisted living services designed to meet the varying needs of seniors as they age.

The Concierge role at Oakmont Gardens is integral to maintaining the community's high standards of resident engagement and operational efficiency. This part-time position primarily covers weekend shifts and plays a key front-desk role within the community. The Concierge serves as the first point of contact for residents, guests, and team members, providing a warm, professional, and attentive front-desk presence. Responsibilities include greeting visitors by name, managing incoming phone calls, maintaining visitor logs and package deliveries, and assisting residents with inquiries and requests. Additionally, the Concierge supports the coordination of community events, appointments, and transportation services, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience for all.

In this role, attention to detail and a calm, friendly demeanor are essential, as the Concierge must often juggle multiple tasks and respond promptly to resident needs and emergencies. This position requires proficiency in basic computer skills such as Microsoft Office and email to manage administrative tasks effectively. Additionally, physical requirements include the ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods and lift up to 20 pounds. The compensation for this role is $19.00 per hour, reflecting the community's commitment to offering competitive wages and a supportive work environment that fosters growth opportunities and meaningful impact.

Oakmont Gardens values professionalism and interpersonal skills, promoting an atmosphere where courtesy, respect, and anticipation of resident needs are paramount. The Concierge embodies these values by consistently practicing the community's hospitality promises: greeting residents warmly by name, treating everyone with respectful consideration, promptly responding to needs, and ensuring attention to detail in every task. Joining Oakmont Gardens as a Concierge offers a rewarding opportunity to contribute to a vibrant community dedicated to enriching the lives of seniors while advancing one’s career in a caring, professional setting.
