Established as a company committed to innovation, cultural diversity, and community engagement, Albertsons offers a wide range of banners including Safeway, Vons, Jewel-Osco, and many others, making it not only locally great but also nationally strong in retail. The company emphasizes an inclusive and supportive work environment where employee growth, training, and development are priorities. Albertsons is deeply invested in creating a workplace where every individual has equitable access to resources and opportunities, ensuring that all team members can contribute meaningfully to the company's success. The company maintains a strong focus on customer service, fostering a people-oriented business philosophy where putting people first is the core of its values. Albertsons also promotes a culture of belonging and healthy living, striving to be a retail leader admired for its national scope and local roots. Employees at Albertsons enjoy diverse and inclusive work culture, competitive wages, flexible schedules, and comprehensive health and welfare benefits such as medical, dental, and 401(k) plans, in addition to associate discounts and paid time off.

The Concierge role at Albertsons Companies is an exciting opportunity suited for individuals passionate about food, events, and customer engagement. A Concierge’s day is dynamic and varied, requiring the ability to adapt and prioritize customer interactions. When a customer enters the department, their first priority is to acknowledge and actively engage them, driven by expertise in food and food pairings to assist with catering and event planning. This position is central to the event planning process, working collaboratively with different departments and event staff to coordinate orders and ensure seamless execution for customers’ special occasions. The Concierge serves as an essential liaison in the end-to-end catering coordination, providing a personalized touch that puts the finishing details in place, ensuring customer satisfaction and event success.

Albertsons seeks candidates who are 18 years or older, with at least one year of culinary, catering, hospitality, and/or event planning experience. The role appeals to those motivated by traveling to various venues and gatherings for events, who take pride in both large and small tasks, and thrive in fast-paced, team-oriented environments. A key aspect of this position is believing in the importance of food in people’s lives and the community, emphasizing the need for required Food Handler’s permits or Food Safety Certifications to ensure safety and quality standards. The role offers a unique chance to bring individual flavor and creativity while contributing to the future of food and well-being. Candidates will gain valuable experience working in a major retail organization that values diverse perspectives, customer service excellence, and employee development. Starting rates for this position align with local minimum wage requirements but may be higher depending on qualifications and experience, with opportunities for quarterly bonuses and benefits packages available to eligible employees.
