The role of Concierge at The Ridge at Westlake Village offers a key customer service position within this vibrant senior living environment. This part-time, on-call position pays between $18 and $19 per hour and is designed for individuals who excel at providing exceptional service, demonstrating a high level of professionalism, and supporting both residents and staff. The Concierge serves as the welcoming face for visitors, residents, and their families, handling duties that range from greeting guests and answering multi-line telephones to assisting with arranging community tours and providing clerical support to administrative staff. The individual in this role must be adept at managing multiple responsibilities simultaneously, ensuring the safety and security of everyone on campus, and displaying excellent communication skills. By monitoring the Emergency Alert System and acting promptly, the Concierge plays a vital part in maintaining a safe environment. The position demands a proactive approach to teamwork and collaboration across departments to support the community’s mission and values effectively. Job Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- high school diploma or equivalent
- pass a Criminal Background check and Health Screening tests, including physical and TB Tests
- comply with COVID-19 safety protocols including vaccination, daily screening, surveillance testing, and wearing PPE
Job Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- high school diploma or equivalent
- prefer two (2) years of experience in a hospitality setting or prior senior living community
- excellent customer service skills
- able to operate a personal computer and be proficient in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, etc.)
- possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families

Job Duties
- Provide all residents, guests, and visitors with exceptional customer service
- answer telephones, record, and/or direct calls to appropriate individuals in a timely, clear, concise, and professional manner
- monitor the Emergency Alert System and immediately respond to every call
- effectively manage business center and process incoming and outgoing mail
- maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards
- encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments
