Job Description
Laurel Parc is a distinguished senior living community located in the heart of Bethany Village, just north of the Beaverton/Hillsboro area in Portland, Oregon. Laurel Parc is currently seeking a full-time Concierge to join its Administration team. This role is scheduled from Wednesday to Sunday, 3:30 pm to 11:30 pm, with a competitive pay range of $19.00 to $19.50 per hour. The Concierge serves as a vital point of contact for residents, guests, and staff, creating a welcoming and pleasant first impression upon arrival at the front lobby. Key responsibilities include managing phone calls, greeting residents and visitors, maintaining the lobby area, and addressing any service or amenity needs residents might have. This position requires excellent communication abilities, a friendly demeanor, and a proactive approach to service.
The Concierge role at Laurel Parc is more than just a front desk position; it is an opportunity to be an integral part of the community's daily life and operations. Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in customer service preferred
- Ability to use computer and smartphone applications
- Effective communication skills
- Ability to comprehend written instructions and policies
- Ability to interact positively with residents, families and coworkers
- Availability to work Wednesday through Sunday, 3:30 pm to 11:30 pm
- Ability to maintain a welcoming and organized front lobby environment
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in customer service or concierge role preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Basic proficiency with computer and smartphone applications
- Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Understanding of safety rules, policies and procedures
Job Duties
- Creates a pleasant first impression for guests upon arrival to the front lobby
- Responds to resident, family and co-worker concerns in a timely manner
