The role of the High-Rise Concierge is crucial in maintaining the high standards of customer service that this prestigious property is known for. This position demands an individual who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment where multiple priorities must be managed efficiently. The concierge serves as the first point of contact for residents and guests, ensuring that every interaction is warm, professional, and helpful. Key responsibilities include greeting and directing residents and visitors, maintaining an active presence at the front desk, controlling access to the property, monitoring security cameras, and reporting any suspicious activities. The concierge is also responsible for supporting the management team with administrative tasks such as preparing reports and presentations using PowerPoint, as well as daily activity and incident reports. Additionally, the concierge conducts daily building walk-throughs to ensure that the community remains clean and orderly.

The ideal candidate should be technically savvy, able to engage with residents using property management systems, and provide assistance with technology-related queries. Beyond administrative and security duties, the concierge also facilitates various resident services, including handling mail and packages, arranging transportation, making dining or entertainment reservations, and coordinating housekeeping or other property-specific services. A comprehensive knowledge of local attractions and services is beneficial to enhance residents' living experience.

This position requires adherence to all front desk procedures and safety protocols, embodying a polished appearance and professional demeanor at all times. The work schedule includes shifts on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday from 3:00 pm to 11:00 pm, offering a consistent routine for work-life balance. Job Requirements

  • Ability to lift 30-50 pounds

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalency required
  • Bachelor’s in hospitality management or business administration desired
  • A minimum of one year of high-end or luxury hospitality or property management experience is preferred
  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Must possess strong organizational skills with the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities at once
  • Must be friendly and courteous, and enjoy working with a variety of people while maintaining a professional demeanor
  • Must be a team player with a strong work ethic
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and information systems

Job Duties

  • Demonstrates superior customer service at all times and a genuine desire to serve
  • Warmly greets and directs residents and guests arriving to or departing from the property
  • Maintains an active presence at the Front Desk
  • Monitors and announces visitors and controls access to the property
  • Reviews access control cameras frequently and reports any suspicious activity according to the Front Desk procedures
  • PowerPoint support for reports and presentations
  • Technology expert, ready to engage with systems and help homeowners with queries
  • Daily walk-throughs of the building to ensure the community is upkept and clean
  • Processing incoming mail and outgoing packages, answering questions, making recommendations, and making arrangements on items such as transportation, restaurant reservations, personal shopping, health and beauty services, and cultural events
  • Travel and meeting planning
  • delivering dry cleaning
  • and coordinating housekeeping or other community-specific services
  • Possesses an in-depth knowledge of the attractions, nightlife, and special services of the surrounding area in order to enhance a 5-star residential-living experience
  • Maintains familiarity of all community amenities and activities
  • Gives directions to amenities and events within the property
  • Adheres to all Front Desk procedures, including but not limited to reviewing and completing Daily Activity Reports (DAR)
