The role of Concierge at Century Park Associates is pivotal in contributing to the welcoming and hospitable environment that defines the community. Serving as the primary point of contact in the front lobby, the Concierge provides outstanding customer service and reception services to residents, families, guests, and visitors. Reporting directly to the Business Office Manager, this position ensures all interactions comply with legal and regulatory standards as well as Century Park policies. The Concierge is responsible for creating a warm, positive atmosphere that exemplifies hospitality, welcoming everyone who enters the community with professionalism and courtesy. Maintaining security and order in the front lobby is also essential, including screening visitors and monitoring the area for any unauthorized individuals or concerns. The role requires attentiveness, exceptional communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently despite frequent interruptions.

In addition to greeting and guiding visitors, the Concierge performs administrative duties such as typing, filing, data entry, mail distribution, and using office equipment like fax machines and scanners. This role supports the smooth operation of daily activities, ensuring that events logs and resident maintenance requests are accurately recorded and that housekeeping and security teams are kept informed. The Concierge also plays a crucial role in sales and marketing by managing inquiries from prospective residents, coordinating with the sales teams to ensure timely follow-up, and assisting with electronic health record systems as needed.

Job Duties

  • Demonstrates excellent customer service including telephone etiquette skills
  • serves as community's first greeter to all guests visitors residents and families entering front lobby

  • keeps bell cart clean and polishes weekly
  • provides accurate reliable clerical support including typing filing photocopies fax data entry etc
  • receives sorts and distributes mail
  • delivers packages to appropriate person department following community policy
  • makes accurate timely entries into events log
  • maintains lists including resident directory door check sheets associate phone list call in sheets
  • enters resident maintenance requests in TELS system
  • maintains guest room reservations charges and payments accurately while keeping housekeeping informed
  • oversees resident check in system including educates new residents invites participation maintains weekly list for security
  • regularly utilizes front desk inquiry connection sheets for incoming inquiry calls for prospective residents
  • communicates with sales team and back up sales team so inquiry calls are handled timely
  • assists with electronic heath record EHR system as requested
