The Concierge position at Chateau Retirement is an exciting part-time role dedicated to enhancing the daily experience of residents, visitors, and family members through exceptional customer service and attentive support. As the first point of contact for the community, the Concierge plays a crucial role in greeting guests, managing communication, and ensuring a secure and welcoming environment. This role demands professionalism, strong interpersonal skills, and a genuine passion for assisting the elderly. Scheduled from Sunday through Thursday evenings, this position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $21 to $25. Job Requirements

previous experience working with the elderly preferred
computer proficiency including word, excel, outlook
strong interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills
ability to read, write and speak english
ability to pass a department of social and health services background check with some negative actions acceptable
valid cpr/first aid certificate, chateau will pay for training if not certified

Job Duties

act as the first point of contact for visitors to the community, greet and direct guests and family members and monitor the entry and lobby areas
answer incoming telephone calls and resident inquiries, forwarding messages when appropriate
provide excellent customer service when coordinating appointments and handling inquiries from residents and family members
sort and distribute incoming and outgoing mail, process deliveries and faxes
take resident to-go orders and enter into the point-of-sale system
conduct daily resident security check
