Job Description

The hiring establishment is a well-regarded senior living facility committed to providing exceptional care and support to its residents. This facility specializes in offering a comfortable, welcoming, and secure environment for new admissions and their families. The facility emphasizes a smooth transition into their community by focusing on personalized care and attention to each resident's unique needs. Known for its comprehensive approach to senior care, the establishment combines professional services with a warm, family-like atmosphere that fosters respect and dignity for all residents. The environment is designed to accommodate both short-term and long-term stays, featuring amenities and activities that promote wellbeing and engagement for all residents.

The role being offered is for a Concierge, which is a critical position within the facility that directly impacts the first impressions and ongoing satisfaction of residents and their families. The Concierge will act as the primary point of contact for new admissions, ensuring that each arrival and their family feels welcomed and supported throughout their stay. This includes greeting new residents, preparing rooms complete with necessary medical equipment and welcome packets, and assisting with both administrative and personal tasks. The Concierge is also responsible for maintaining the accuracy and availability of important informational materials such as activity calendars, newsletters, policies, and contact information.

In addition to these duties, the Concierge plays a vital role in coordinating communication between families and staff, including helping with dietary needs, discharge planning, and grievance resolution. They will assist residents in transitioning to different parts of the facility by helping pack and unpack belongings and ensuring rooms are ready for occupancy. Another important responsibility is securing personal items like dentures, hearing aids, and eyeglasses to maintain resident comfort and safety. The role also involves facilitating residents’ participation in facility services, such as beauty shop visits, and managing administrative tasks such as referral inputs, admissions processes, and escorting residents to appointments.

This job requires a compassionate, organized, and proactive individual who can effectively balance administrative tasks with direct resident interaction. The employment type and salary details are not specified but candidates can expect a role that is central to resident experience and critical to operational success. By joining this facility, applicants will become part of a supportive team dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for seniors, making a tangible difference in their day-to-day lives, and promoting a community that residents and their families can trust and rely on.
