The Concierge position offered at INSERT COMMUNITY NAME is an integral role within our vibrant community. This role involves providing top-tier customer service by greeting visitors, supporting residents' various requests, arranging property tours, and responding promptly and professionally to telephone inquiries. The concierge acts as a welcoming first point of contact for residents and guests, delivering a positive and helpful presence that reflects the company’s mission and values.

In addition to customer interaction, the concierge supports administrative operations by managing communications on a multi-line telephone system, coordinating the business center’s functions, and handling incoming and outgoing mail. Maintaining safety and security standards is also vital, as this role ensures a safe environment for staff, residents, and visitors. The concierge fosters teamwork through collaboration with co-workers and ensures effective communication across departments for seamless community operation.

Ideal candidates for the Concierge role are at least 18 years old, possess a high school diploma or equivalent, and preferably have two years of experience in a hospitality or senior living environment. The position demands excellent interpersonal skills, proficiency in computer applications including Microsoft Office, and the ability to communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders such as employees, supervisors, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families.

This shift-based position covers evening hours from 4 PM to 7:30 PM on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, ensuring coverage during high activity periods within the community. Selected candidates must pass criminal background checks and health screenings that include physical and TB tests. In line with health and safety protocols, team members may also be required to participate in COVID-19 prevention measures such as vaccinations, daily screening, surveillance testing, and the use of personal protective equipment as per regulatory guidelines.

Job Duties

  • Provide all residents, guests, and visitors with exceptional customer service
  • answer telephones, record, and/or direct calls to appropriate individuals in a timely, clear, concise, and professional manner
  • monitor the emergency alert system and immediately respond to every call
  • effectively manage business center and process incoming and outgoing mail
  • maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards
  • encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments
