Job Description

Waltonwood is a respected community-focused organization specializing in providing exceptional living experiences in Independent Living and Assisted Living communities. Known for their commitment to enhancing the quality of life for residents, Waltonwood combines hospitality, safety, and personalized care in a welcoming environment. Their communities foster a sense of belonging and provide comprehensive administrative support to ensure seamless day-to-day operations. The organization values professionalism, empathy, and teamwork among their staff, creating an atmosphere where residents feel cared for and at home.

The Concierge role at Waltonwood plays a pivotal part as the first and last impression of the community. This position is designed for individuals dedicated to delivering excellent customer service and administrative support. Concierges greet and assist residents, visitors, and staff with warmth and professionalism, managing inquiries and directing communication efficiently while upholding safety and security procedures. Reporting directly to the Business Office Manager and working closely with the Administrative team, they help maintain overall community comfort, quality, and operational efficiency. The position is part-time, primarily covering day shifts either from 6am to 2pm or 8am to 4:30pm, with a requirement for flexibility to pick up additional shifts as needed.

This role is central to fostering positive relationships within the community by serving as the social hub that connects residents, their families, and staff. Concierges are expected to be dependable and punctual, recognizing how their presence and actions impact the well-being of residents and team dynamics. Their responsibilities extend beyond typical clerical duties—they contribute meaningfully to the supportive environment by assisting with emergency procedures, handling resident inquiries, and providing clerical assistance to department heads and property management. Competencies such as strong communication, organization, empathy, and customer focus are vital to succeeding in this position. The Concierge’s dedication to creating a welcoming and safe community atmosphere aligns with Waltonwood's core values, making this role both fulfilling and essential.
