This particular position is for a part-time Concierge with variable hours and required work on Sundays, offering $18 to $19 per hour. The Concierge acts as the welcoming face of the community, providing exceptional customer service to residents, visitors, and guests. Key responsibilities include greeting visitors, answering multi-line telephones professionally, arranging property tours, and supporting administrative functions with clerical duties. The role demands a high level of attentiveness, strong communication skills, and the ability to maintain a safe and secure environment. The Concierge also manages business center operations, processes mail, and monitors emergency alert systems, responding promptly to calls to ensure resident safety.

Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • prefer two (2) years of experience in a hospitality setting or prior senior living community
  • excellent customer service skills
  • able to operate a personal computer and be proficient in MS Office programs
  • possess written and verbal communication skills
  • must pass a criminal background check and health screening tests, including physical and TB tests
  • comply with Oakmont Management Group’s COVID-19 safety protocols including vaccination, daily screening, and use of personal protective equipment as per regulatory guidelines

Job Qualifications

  • Must be at least 18 years of age

  • prefer two (2) years of experience in a hospitality setting or prior senior living community
  • excellent customer service skills
  • able to operate a personal computer and be proficient in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, etc.)
  • possess written and verbal skills to interact and communicate effectively with employees, supervisors, physicians, healthcare professionals, residents, and their families
  • must pass a criminal background check and health screening tests, including physical and TB tests

Job Duties

  • Provide all residents, guests, and visitors with exceptional customer service
  • answer telephones, record, and/or direct calls to appropriate individuals in a timely, clear, concise, and professional manner
  • monitor the Emergency Alert System and immediately respond to every call
  • effectively manage business center and process incoming and outgoing mail
  • maintain a safe and secure environment for all staff, residents, and guests, following established safety standards
  • encourage teamwork through cooperative interactions with co-workers and other departments
  • arrange tours of the property
