Job Description

Highgate Senior Living is a premier senior living community located in Billings, MT, dedicated to providing a holistic and person-first approach to elder care. Unlike traditional facilities, Highgate Senior Living emphasizes creating a true community where independence is encouraged and residents are treated like family. The organization values compassion, respect, and connection, striving to foster an environment that supports the unique needs of seniors and their families. With a focus on enhancing quality of life and well-being, Highgate Senior Living offers more than just a place to live; it offers a supportive and engaging community where residents can thrive socially, emotionally, and physically.

The Concierge role at Highgate Senior Living is critical in shaping the first impression for everyone who visits the community. This position acts as the welcoming face and primary point of contact for residents, their families, and visitors. Working full days either Thursday through Saturday or Friday through Sunday, the Concierge manages the front desk operations, handles phone communications, and ensures a warm, helpful, and efficient environment. The role requires someone with excellent interpersonal skills, a customer service and hospitality mindset, and the ability to multitask effectively. This is a full-time position with competitive compensation ranging from $17.00 to $19.00 per hour, reflecting the importance of the role in maintaining a positive community atmosphere.

In this role, the Concierge is responsible for managing basic administrative tasks such as maintaining records and supporting events and community communications. They play a significant part in facilitating informal socialization opportunities for residents, enhancing their community experience and fostering a lively atmosphere. Successful candidates demonstrate confidence engaging with seniors and families, good communication skills both verbal and written, and proficiency with basic MS Office tools. The environment demands attention to detail and a friendly, professional approach at all times. Previous experience in front desk, hospitality, customer-facing roles, or volunteer work related to helping others or supporting vulnerable populations is highly valued.

At Highgate Senior Living, employees are more than workers—they are essential members of a mission-driven team committed to making a meaningful difference in senior living. The organization supports its team members through a positive, inclusive culture that encourages growth and offers internal promotion pathways. Benefits include a comprehensive package with health coverage, a 401(k) plan with matching contributions, employee referral bonuses, and competitive pay. Time management and independence are key qualities for success in the Concierge position, which demands professionalism, heart, and a passion for service.

Joining Highgate Senior Living means becoming part of a workplace that values community, purpose, and the dignity of elders. It is an invitation to contribute to a supportive setting where residents feel welcomed, safe, and cared for. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys connecting with others, thrives in dynamic environments, and wants to play a vital part in enriching the lives of seniors. Those interested in applying are welcomed to bring their talents to a team that is dedicated to excellence and compassion in senior care.
