Job Description

Albertsons Companies Inc. is a leading food and drug retailer in the United States, renowned for its commitment to innovation, community, and exceptional customer service. Operating over 2,200 stores across 34 states and the District of Columbia, Albertsons proudly serves its customers through a variety of well-known banners including Albertsons, Safeway, Vons, Jewel-Osco, and many others. With more than 1,700 pharmacies, fuel centers, distribution facilities, and manufacturing plants, the company is at the forefront of the retail revolution. Albertsons values diversity, inclusion, and a workplace culture where every individual has equal access to opportunities and resources, fostering both personal and company-wide success.

The Concierge role at Albertsons offers a dynamic and engaging career opportunity for those passionate about food, hospitality, and event planning. No two days are the same in this position, as the Concierge serves as the vital link between customers and the various departments involved in creating unforgettable catering and event experiences. From the moment a customer steps into the department, the Concierge’s priority is to acknowledge and engage them with enthusiasm and expert knowledge of food and food pairings across the company's extensive brochures and services.

In this role, you will coordinate catering orders by collaborating closely with other departments and event staff, ensuring that each event is perfectly executed to meet the customer's needs. The Concierge's responsibilities extend from initial customer interaction through to the final stages of event planning, making sure every detail is aligned and managed efficiently. This end-to-end process requires excellent communication skills, a team-oriented mindset, and a passion for delivering superior customer experiences.

Albertsons fosters a supportive environment where employees are encouraged to grow professionally. Leaders within the company are dedicated to training and career development, ensuring that associates can build fulfilling careers. The company also offers competitive wages, flexible work schedules, associate discounts, and comprehensive health and welfare benefits, including medical, dental, and 401k plans.

Working at Albertsons means being part of a team that values people first, embraces diverse perspectives, raises the bar on service and quality, acts as owners of their roles, works collaboratively as one team, builds belonging, and commits to a healthy future. These core values shape every aspect of the company culture and guide employees in delivering an inspiring, friendly, and easy shopping experience to customers.

If you are motivated by travel, enjoy working in a fast-paced, team-based environment, and believe that food plays a central role in people's lives, the Concierge position at Albertsons is an excellent opportunity to bring your passion to life. The company values individuals who take pride in their work, whether big or small, and who thrive in helping their community through service excellence.

Join Albertsons and be part of a nationally strong yet locally rooted company that celebrates diverse communities and is committed to creating a workplace where everyone can succeed. Bring your flavor, enthusiasm, and dedication to making well-being a part of every customer’s experience. This role requires candidates to be at least 18 years old and have or be willing to obtain the necessary food handler's permits and food safety certifications.
