Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 1-2 years supervisory experience in food and beverage
  • Valid food handling certificate or alcohol service permit if required
  • Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
  • Basic computer literacy
  • Ability to maintain excellent attendance
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Job Qualifications

  • At least 1-2 years' experience working in a supervisory capacity in a food and beverage environment
  • Ability to supervise the work of others
  • Ability to communicate with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management staff, and guests in a clear, business-like, and respectful manner that focuses on generating a positive, enthusiastic, and cooperative work environment
  • Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment
  • Possess a valid food handling certificate or alcohol service permit if required by state or federal regulations
  • Ability to handle cash accurately and responsibly
  • Ability to calculate basic math functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages) as they relate to POS cash/credit transactions, cash reconciliation and product inventory
  • Basic knowledge of office software, Excel, Word, Teams, and PowerPoint

Job Duties

  • Oversee the setup and service of concessions food and beverage
  • Assist in recording a guest’s order via POS system
  • Observe guests to respond to any additional requests or observations and always strive to deliver excellent guest service to internal and external guests
  • Ensure that menus and products are stocked and ready at the beginning of the event
  • Supervises the setup of concessions functions, including beverages, snacks, and paper products
  • Train and coach new and current employees on standard operation procedures in the concessions area
  • Maintains sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas
