Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1-2 years supervisory experience in food and beverage
- Valid food handling certificate or alcohol service permit if required
- Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Basic computer literacy
- Ability to maintain excellent attendance
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Job Qualifications
- At least 1-2 years' experience working in a supervisory capacity in a food and beverage environment
- Ability to supervise the work of others
- Ability to communicate with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management staff, and guests in a clear, business-like, and respectful manner that focuses on generating a positive, enthusiastic, and cooperative work environment
- Ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment
- Possess a valid food handling certificate or alcohol service permit if required by state or federal regulations
- Ability to handle cash accurately and responsibly
- Ability to calculate basic math functions (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages) as they relate to POS cash/credit transactions, cash reconciliation and product inventory
- Basic knowledge of office software, Excel, Word, Teams, and PowerPoint
Job Duties
- Oversee the setup and service of concessions food and beverage
- Assist in recording a guest’s order via POS system
- Observe guests to respond to any additional requests or observations and always strive to deliver excellent guest service to internal and external guests
- Ensure that menus and products are stocked and ready at the beginning of the event
- Supervises the setup of concessions functions, including beverages, snacks, and paper products
- Train and coach new and current employees on standard operation procedures in the concessions area
- Maintains sanitation, health, and safety standards in work areas
