The Concessions Sous Chef role at Oak View Group is integral to the successful culinary operations during events hosted at OVG’s venues. This position is responsible for overseeing back-of-house culinary functions, ensuring that food production is efficient, meets high quality standards, and complies with all food safety and sanitation regulations. As a leadership role, the Concessions Sous Chef supervises the culinary staff during games and events in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, which requires strong organizational skills, the ability to motivate and direct teams, and maintain rigorous food handling and presentation protocols across multiple concession locations within a venue.

This position plays a pivotal role by acting as the primary liaison between management and back-of-house culinary teams, facilitating smooth communication and coordinating operational execution. Duties include supervising food preparation, maintaining portion control and presentation standards, ensuring compliance with health and safety codes, managing food storage and rotation, and overseeing sanitation and temperature logging to maintain strict quality assurance. The role also involves assisting with inventory management, prep work, and stocking to ensure consistent availability of needed ingredients and supplies throughout events.

Job Duties

  • Supervise and support culinary operations during games and events to ensure efficient food production and service
