Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Proven experience in food and beverage concession management
Knowledge of Jefferson and Shelby County Health Department regulations
Ability to manage inventory and equipment maintenance
Strong leadership skills to manage and train staff
Capability to work standing for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds
Availability to work some nights and weekends
ServSafe Certified
Experience with product ordering and invoicing
Familiarity with Caterease software and Square POS systems

Job Qualifications

Passion for hospitality and client service
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook
Experience with Square POS system or other POS systems
Familiarity with Health Department regulations and ABC laws
Food and beverage industry experience
ServSafe certification
Ability to use Caterease software and POS systems effectively

Job Duties

Oversee all event concession operations within Barber Motorsports Park and Greystone Golf Club
Ensure compliance with Jefferson and Shelby County Health Department regulations
Manage business finances including profit and loss and meet set margins
Maintain and service concession equipment and keep up with current food and beverage trends
Develop and implement strategic growth plans for concession operations
Handle day-to-day operations including inventory control, equipment maintenance, staffing, event planning, and facility management
Maintain accurate cash handling procedures and be present during health inspections
Keep concession stands and storage spaces clean, organized, and meet sanitation standards
Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive attitude with staff and customers
Manage hiring, training, scheduling, supervising, and evaluating concession staff
Secure hire-in forms and communicate schedules to concession attendants
Review and document staff expectations
Perform other tasks as assigned by the Assistant General Manager
