The Concessions Lead role at Oak View Group is a pivotal position within their Food & Beverage Management Team. This role involves overseeing the food and beverage operations across various concession stands, bars, and portable food and beverage locations within the arena. The ideal candidate must be personable and capable of thriving in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where adaptability is key. This position primarily entails assisting with food and beverage guest service, staff training, inventory management, and supporting special event activities. The Concessions Lead will work closely with management to ensure operational excellence and a superior guest experience.

This is a part-time role with an hourly pay rate ranging from $18.00 to $20.00, and it is eligible for tips. Job Requirements

  • 1-2 years of related food and beverage experience

Job Qualifications

  • At least 1-2 years experience working in a similar food and beverage environment with leadership experience preferred, ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with employees, co-workers, volunteers, management staff and guests, ability to speak, read and write in English, ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment, possess valid food handling certificate or alcohol service permit if required by state or federal regulations, ability to handle cash accurately and responsibly

Job Duties

  • Ensure proper set-up of all concessions locations prior to doors, assist in training new and current employees regarding property procedure and best practices, ensure event staff and volunteers are aware of workplace expectations and promote a positive workplace environment, obtain working knowledge of all existing concession locations including geographical locations and equipment, service food and beverages including alcoholic beverages with proper ID verification, assist in recording guest orders and relay to kitchen via POS system, observe guests to respond to additional requests and determine meal completion, recommend dishes and explain menu preparation, maintain sanitation, health and safety standards in work areas, demonstrate excellent attendance, assure location equipment is operable and clean, recognize and take action on visibly intoxicated guests, enforce all company policies and procedures, assist management team with projects including training, inventory and special events, perform all other duties as assigned by managers and supervisors
