Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in food preparation or cooking preferred
  • ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and event days
  • physical ability to stand for long periods and perform repetitive tasks
  • compliance with health and safety standards
  • valid food handling certificate if required
  • strong communication skills
  • ability to follow instructions and work collaboratively in a team
  • commitment to punctuality and excellent attendance

Job Qualifications

  • ability to communicate clearly and respectfully with employees, co-workers, management staff and guests
  • ability to speak, read and write in English
  • ability to work well in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment
  • possess valid food handling certificate if required by state and federal regulations

Job Duties

  • cook and package food product prepared to order or kept warm until sold
  • receive verbal orders from front counter staff for guest orders
  • maintain quality and production standards on all menu items
  • control portions and serving temperatures for all concession products
  • clean, stock and restock workstations and displays
  • operate large-volume cooking equipment such as grills, deep-fat fryers and ovens
  • ensure cleanliness of work areas and equipment, proper food storage, and sanitation of utensils and floors
  • follow check-out procedures with Floor Supervisor to meet cleanliness standards
  • maintain sanitation, health and safety standards in work areas
  • demonstrate excellent attendance
