Job Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
TIPS or TEAM trained or equivalent
Must be legally of age to serve alcohol according to state laws
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
Ability to perform basic math calculations
Capability to operate POS systems and handle cash
Must be able to stand for extended periods and carry items up to 50 pounds
Ability to work in varied temperature environments
Must be flexible with schedule including nights, weekends and holidays
Good verbal and written communication skills
Able to maintain professionalism in high-pressure situations
Must be familiar with safety and sanitation standards
Must be physically capable of performing repetitive motions and lifting
Must have the ability to identify and respond to safety hazards
Willingness to work in fast-paced environments where multitasking is required
Ability to speak, read, write, and understand the languages commonly spoken by guests
Must maintain Sodexo Live! grooming and uniform standards

Job Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent
TIPS or TEAM trained or equivalent
Of age to serve alcoholic beverages according to state requirements
Demonstrated ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
Strong team orientation and ability to work collaboratively
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations
Skilled in operating calculators, change counters, and POS/digital registers
Ability to work independently
Ability to perform well in high stress, fast paced environments
Proficient in primary language(s) used by guests
Strong guest service and interpersonal skills
Scheduling flexibility including nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

Provide outstanding service to all Quick Serve customers
Perform duties according to Sodexo Live! procedure for opening and closing Quick Serve locations
Follow all Sodexo Live! uniform and grooming standards
Attend pre-shift or pre-event check-in meetings and follow instructions from managers and supervisors
Process sales transactions according to Sodexo Live! standards
Learn and utilize operational procedures for POS system and register
Follow guidelines for collecting payment including credit card transactions and cash handling
Verify bill authenticity
Work with supervisors to perform refunds and voids according to policies
Maintain proper register balances
Comply with health department regulations and Sodexo Live! standards for sanitation and food safety
Provide guest service with menu knowledge
Observe surroundings to ensure guest safety and alert security if needed
Follow responsible alcoholic beverage service guidelines
Maintain positive communication with supervisors
Participate in team relations and foster positive work environment
Take initiative in fulfilling special guest requests and resolving complaints
Perform other duties as assigned
Implement workplace safety standards
Utilize proper lifting and handling procedures
Report hazards and maintain safe work areas
