Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- minimum 1 year experience in cash register and cash handling procedures
- ability to count and handle money accurately
- basic knowledge of concession or cafeteria operation
- ability to follow directions effectively
- pleasant personality and neat appearance
- ability to communicate in English
- availability to work flexible shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- must have 1 year of cash register and cash handling procedures
- must have sufficient math ability to accurately count and handle money
- must have basic working knowledge of concession/cafeteria operation
- must have ability to follow directions and effectively perform the work
- must have a pleasant personality and a neat appearance
- must speak and understand English well enough to converse with customers, supervisors and employees
- must be able to work days, nights, weekends, and holiday as dictated by events
- some experience with computers preferred
Job Duties
- Punch clock in full uniform, ready to work and no earlier than five minutes prior to shift
- greet all guests with enthusiasm and friendliness
- answer guest questions about food and beverage and facilities accurately and in a friendly manner
- prepare work area for opening, mid-shift or closing in accordance with food and beverage standards
- maintain accurate accounting of all cash and inventory on assigned concession stand
- plan and prepare for daily cash sales flow
- organize all paperwork for cashier responsibilities including cash slips and over-ring and under-ring forms
- maintain professional relationships with all coworkers
- maintain safe working conditions and sanitary work area for employees
- perform location worker assignments
- verify the proper items prices to the menu
- maintain full knowledge of menus, recipes and other pertinent information
- be responsible for constant sanitation, organization and proper food handling
- follow all rules and regulations of food and beverage
- do side work during non-busy hours
- perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor
