Job Requirements
- Must be of legal age to serve alcohol and possess any required certifications
- Ability to lift and transport up to 100 lbs
- Walk and stand during entire shift
- Frequent reaching, lifting, stooping, bending, and cleaning
- English reading, writing, and math skills required
- Possible exposure to hazards such as slips, trips, falls, burns, cuts, and strains
- Able to communicate effectively with managers, guests, and teammates by speaking and comprehending English
Job Qualifications
- 1-2 years of bartending experience in a high-volume capacity preferred
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests, managers, and teammates
- Ability to describe menu and beverage offerings accurately
- Knowledge of responsible alcohol service policies
- Ability to use POS system accurately
- Positive attitude and teamwork mindset
- Experience with cash handling and tip reporting
Job Duties
- Completes steps of service to ensure utmost guest satisfaction
- Understands and can describe menu offerings, packaging/presentation and pricing
- Establishes rapport with guests/members
- Effectively uses suggestive and upselling techniques
- Always exceeds guest expectations
- Adheres to location appearance guidelines
- Acts with a sense of urgency and provides friendly, efficient service to teammates and guests
- Delivers properly prepared beverages in a timely manner
- Responds to guest needs and requests
- Maintains service areas
- Follows cash handling and tip reporting guidelines
- Accurately uses POS system
- Employs good safety and sanitation practices
- Follows responsible alcohol service policies
- Practices proper product control and handling of all inventory and equipment
- Follows Core Levy beverage recipes and specifications
- Thoroughly completes all station set-up and breakdown responsibilities
- Communicates guest issues to management
- Adheres to Levy Restaurants Company guidelines as stated in team member training manual and employee handbook
- Displays a positive attitude toward teammates and managers
- Helps fellow team members whenever necessary
- Always on time and ready to perform all required duties
