Founded in 2015, OVG has established itself as a major player within the live entertainment industry by serving a portfolio of seven world-class owned venues and an extensive client roster that includes iconic arenas, stadiums, convention centers, music festivals, performing arts centers, and cultural institutions across four continents. This global presence allows OVG to deliver high-quality, innovative solutions and outstanding experiences in the live event space. The company's commitment to excellence and innovation has positioned it as a market leader enhancing how live entertainment is produced and experienced worldwide.
The Concessions Bar Back position at OVG is a crucial support role designed to assist bartenders during live events by ensuring they are consistently stocked with necessary products. This role plays a vital part in maintaining seamless operations at some of the most high-profile venues, including the recently renovated CFG Bank Arena in Baltimore—which has undergone over $200 million in upgrades and was recognized by Billboard as the 4th highest grossing venue worldwide in its category. The Bar Back supports the bartenders by restocking non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages, operating bar equipment such as taps and keg coolers, and maintaining clean and organized bar areas to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
This role requires the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented, and event-driven environment, with excellent communication skills for interacting respectfully with coworkers, management, and guests. Individuals in this position must be attentive to detail, demonstrating responsibility in adhering to company standards for cleanliness, safety, and alcohol dispensing policies. The Concessions Bar Back role is hourly and pays between $15.00 and $16.00, with eligibility to receive tips. Benefits for part-time roles include a 401(k) savings plan and matching contributions, highlighting OVG’s commitment to providing valuable employee benefits even for part-time positions.
The position requires excellent attendance and availability to work events as scheduled, reflecting the dynamic nature of the live entertainment and hospitality industry. This job offers an opportunity to join a highly respected and pioneering team within the sectors of sports and live entertainment, where diversity and inclusion are prioritized as foundational elements of business success. OVG actively fosters an inclusive work culture that values voices from all backgrounds, strengthening its people, improving service quality, and raising the overall excellence of the organization.
Working as a Concessions Bar Back at OVG means being part of an established company that values innovation, diversity, and excellence. Employees contribute directly to the customer experience of major live events, helping create memorable moments for fans and patrons. This role not only offers an entry into the dynamic world of live entertainment but also provides opportunities for personal development within a company recognized globally for its leadership and transformative impact on the industry. The position remains open until July 17th, 2026, reflecting OVG’s ongoing need for reliable and dedicated team members to support their expanding portfolio of venues and live event offerings.
