The Concessions position within the Food and Beverage Department reports to the Bar and Concession Supervisor and the Food and Beverage Manager. This part-time hourly, non-exempt role is essential in delivering outstanding customer service to patrons attending events or visiting concession stands. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing transactions accurately, preparing and serving food and beverages, and ensuring that all health, sanitation, and safety regulations are rigorously followed. This role demands a high level of enthusiasm, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude to maintain cleanliness and organization while meeting daily sales projections and operational procedures.
The position involves multiple responsibilities, including adherence to Health and Sanitation laws, proper alcohol service regulations, and inventory control involving non-profits, part-time, third-party, and temporary staff. Candidates will be expected to assist other team members with troubleshooting and ensure smooth and efficient operations of retail food and beverage areas. Organizational skills are critical for managing cashier paperwork and ensuring accurate transaction handling. The candidate will also engage professionally and courteously with customers, co-workers, and other stakeholders, contributing to a positive and respectful work environment.

Job Requirements
- Must have a high school diploma or GED
- preferred 3 months of related experience and/or training
- basic knowledge of food and beverage and bar preparation
- basic math skills for handling money
- ability to maintain positive work relationships
- effective oral and written communication skills
- availability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties
- Maintain rules and regulations of health and sanitation laws
- maintain rules and regulations for serving alcohol
- maintain organization and cleanliness in assigned retail areas
- ensure adherence to inventory procedures by non-profits, part-time staff, third parties, and temporary staff
- plan for daily sales flow based on projections
- organize cashier paperwork including physical inventory stand sheet and cash or voucher slips
- assist workers with troubleshooting and retail food and beverage procedures
- interact with employees, customers, and clients in a professional manner
- maintain accurate transaction handling procedures
- perform assigned location duties
- perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor
