The role available at DCU Center is a Concession Stand Worker position, offering an hourly wage of $16.59. This role is vital in ensuring that concessions are operated efficiently, safely, and in a clean environment during the various events hosted at the center. The Concession Stand Worker will be responsible for the overall maintenance and upkeep of the concession stand, including general cleaning duties to maintain a sanitary and pleasant environment. They will also manage the accounting aspects related to cash and inventory, ensuring accuracy and transparency. This position requires adherence to strict cash handling procedures and compliance with all food and beverage regulations, including food safety protocols and alcohol service regulations, supported by ServSafe certification requirements.

The role also involves active participation in daily sales planning based on projections and peak hour demand, making sure adequate change is available and communicated effectively to the Concession Lead. Teamwork is emphasized as the employee will perform various location assignments and support the team to deliver excellent customer service. Although this position does not have supervisory responsibilities, it plays an essential role in contributing to the smooth delivery of food and beverage services during events. Job Requirements

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • General cleaning and upkeep of stand
  • Maintains accurate accounting of all cash and inventory on assigned concession stand
  • Performs location worker assignments
  • Maintains safe working conditions and sanitary work area for employees
  • Plans for daily sales flow based on projections
  • Plans for peak hour sales and makes change requirements known to the Concession Lead
  • Maintains accurate cash handling procedures at all times
  • Follows all rules and regulations of Food and Beverage
  • Performs other related duties as assigned by supervisor
