The position of Concessions Bartender at Legends Global located at ONT Field is a part-time role compensated at $21.40 per hour. Employees in this role are covered by a collective bargaining agreement with Unite Here Local 11, which includes union membership as a condition of employment. This role falls within the Food & Beverage department and reports to the Food & Beverage Manager. The Concessions Bartender is responsible for preparing and serving both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests during events, ensuring a warm, friendly, and professional demeanor to enhance the guest experience.
Key responsibilities include mixing and serving drinks to order, maintaining an up-to-date knowledge of standard bar drinks and wines, and adhering strictly to food handlers and alcoholic beverage service permits. The bartender maintains cleanliness and organization of the work area and equipment, ensures that merchandising and signage are properly displayed, and follows company dress code policy, including wearing black pants and non-slip soled closed-toe shoes.
The role demands high attention to detail and consistency to provide excellent customer service, greeting guests warmly, efficiently using POS systems to handle high service volumes, following cash handling and tip reporting guidelines, and expediting drink orders promptly. The position involves stocking station supplies, managing garnish and cashier stations, and practicing proper product control and sanitation per health regulations. Familiarity with the arena layout is essential to assist guests effectively.

Job Requirements
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- high school diploma or GED
- basic math and cash handling experience
- must obtain Food Handlers Card within 30 days of hire
- TIPS certification
- ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays
- ability to pass background check
- must adhere to company dress code
- ability to stand for long hours and lift at least 25 lbs
- ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- must be able to work with minimal supervision
- must be detail oriented
- physically able to perform job duties including pushing, pulling, bending and stooping
- must follow safety guidelines
- membership in Unite Here Local 11 union as condition of employment
Job Qualifications
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- high school diploma or GED
- previous bartending experience a plus
- previous customer service experience a plus
- basic math and cash handling skills
- working knowledge of food production techniques, purchasing, and sanitation procedures
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
- ability to define and solve problems independently
- ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends and holidays
- must possess excellent organizational, planning and interpersonal skills

Job Duties
- Responsible for mixing drinks to order and serving customers
- responsible for having knowledge of all bar drinks and wines
- maintain valid food handlers and alcoholic beverage server permits
- assist in maintaining, organizing and cleaning all work area and equipment
- ensure all merchandising and signage are properly displayed for each event
- accurately use POS system while serving high volumes of guests

- expedite guest drink orders in a timely manner
- stock product, set up garnish stations, cashier stations and display baskets
- thoroughly complete all station set-up and breakdown responsibilities

- be comfortable with the arena and assist guests
- help maintain excellent customer service
