Job Requirements

  • Must be of legal age to prepare and sell alcoholic beverages
  • Able to stand and walk for 6 hours
  • Able to lift up to 30 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Availability to work overtime, late hours, and holidays if needed
  • Must wear appropriate uniform at all times
  • Must possess or be willing to obtain ABC “LEAD” certification
  • Must have a food handler’s card
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills

Job Qualifications

  • At least one year of relevant work experience
  • ABC “LEAD” certification preferred or willingness to obtain
  • Food handler’s card
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Ability to follow all safety and sanitation procedures
  • Familiarity with California Alcohol and Beverage Control laws

Job Duties

  • Selling a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages during events
  • Pouring sodas, beer, wine, bottled water, and other beverages
  • Providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment
  • Counting cash accurately and making correct change quickly
  • Ensuring compliance with all State and Federal alcohol serving policies
  • Stocking bar items as needed
  • Setting up, cleaning, and breaking down workstations
  • Handling and cleaning all bar equipment properly
  • Following sanitation procedures and OSHA safety requirements
  • Maintaining and balancing individual cash banks
  • Following opening and closing procedures to ensure areas are secure and sanitary
  • Attending safety meetings as required
