Job Requirements
- At least 6 years progressive experience in a hotel or a related field
- Or a 4-year college degree and at least 4 to 5 years of related experience
- Or a 2-year college degree and at least 5 to 6 years of related experience
- Ability to exert up to 20 pounds of force occasionally or 10 pounds frequently
- Maintain a warm and friendly demeanor at all times
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to listen, understand, and clarify concerns
- Ability to multitask and prioritize functions
- Approach encounters in a friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner
- Attend all required meetings and trainings
- Participate in management coverage as scheduled

Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Tour the operating departments daily, making adjustments as needed via department heads
- Conduct weekly staff meetings, including training sessions and sales reviews
- Meet all financial review dates and corporate programs timely
- Hold monthly financial review meetings with managers and supervisors
- Ensure department heads maintain budgeted productivity and accounting procedures
- Develop managers for future advancement through training programs
- Conduct daily sales meetings and support hotel sales efforts
- Participate in management coverage as scheduled
- Monitor management trainees' development
- Ensure compliance with corporate policies and training
- Oversee and assist in budgeting processes
- Maintain service standards training across departments
- Foster a positive, team-oriented guest-focused environment
- Inspect rooms regularly with housekeeping and engineering
- Ensure daily invoice processing and monthly financial document submission
- Maintain cleanliness and preventive maintenance programs
- Ensure employees provide attentive, friendly, and courteous service
- Forecast monthly financial positions and generate accurate reforecasts
- Conduct management interviews and ensure hiring compliance
- Perform executive performance appraisals and enforce disciplinary procedures
- Meet management personnel to motivate and coach
- Ensure fair treatment of employees
- Engage with clients and guests during peak times
- Oversee hotel safe security and audits
- Conduct monthly credit meetings and manage credit policies
- Complete corporate training modules and certify as needed
- Ensure all scheduled meetings take place on property
