Job Description

North Point Hospitality Group, Inc. is a distinguished independent franchisee operating a unique Marriott property in downtown Nashville, Tennessee. Established in 1978 and based in Atlanta, Georgia, North Point Hospitality has built a reputation for developing high-quality hotels in prominent locations. With a portfolio that includes nine hotels in the Southeast and ongoing projects totaling five additional properties, the company has partnered with major hotel brands like Hilton and Marriott to deliver exceptional hospitality experiences. North Point Hospitality’s commitment to excellence is reflected in its investment of over $600 million in hotel developments and its dedicated management of properties that combine innovation with customer-centric services. The hotel in Nashville is particularly notable as the world’s first-ever Tri-brand Marriott property, featuring three distinct Marriott experiences under one roof: AC Hotels, known for its chic, modern European-inspired design with 209 rooms; Residence Inn, offering extended-stay comforts and 172 rooms; and SpringHill Suites, providing spacious and stylish suites tailored to modern travelers with 125 rooms. This landmark hotel is strategically located just two blocks from Nashville’s iconic Broadway, blending music, hospitality, and Southern charm to create a vibrant guest experience. The role we are offering is that of a Complex Director of Sales, a key leadership position responsible for shaping and driving the revenue strategy across these diverse hotel brands. As a Complex Director of Sales, the successful candidate will take charge of overseeing sales activities for North Point Hospitality properties within designated markets. This full-time management position involves leading a dynamic sales team, including Sales Managers, Property Sales Directors, and Sales Associates or Coordinators, fostering an office environment conducive to effective selling and customer advocacy. The director will set booking goals, manage hiring and training, and guide the team to meet and exceed property revenue objectives. Key responsibilities also include the development and implementation of annual sales and marketing plans for each hotel, analyzing market competition and trends to identify new business opportunities, and maintaining strong business relationships across various market segments. An essential part of the role is to maximize room and event revenues through strategic planning and execution, leveraging the unique attributes of each Marriott brand under the Tri-brand umbrella. Additionally, the position demands a focus on guest and associate satisfaction, financial success, and adherence to North Point Hospitality’s Guest Service Principles. This role suits a highly strategic and results-driven sales professional passionate about hospitality, with proven success in hotel sales and revenue generation. Benefits for this position include travel discounts, medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401k match, paid time off after 90 days, early access to earned wages, and more. Compensation is competitive and aligned with experience and qualifications, reflective of the seniority and impact of the role within the organization. North Point Hospitality values diversity and is an equal opportunity employer, inviting qualified candidates to join a team dedicated to excellence in the hospitality industry.
