The Community Marketing & Engagement Specialist role is a dynamic and people-centered position perfect for someone who thrives on building connections, marketing creativity, and hands-on member engagement. This role involves managing and supporting a charter club membership program while also planning and hosting social events that boost community spirit. As a brand ambassador, you will build and maintain relationships with local businesses, referral sources, and community organizations to generate leads and increase visibility. You will use your marketing and social media skills to create engaging content that highlights our community's social life and activities, keeping members and prospects informed and involved. This role also requires coordination and support of event logistics, promotion, attendance tracking, and communication with prospective residents and the sales team. With a competitive pay range of $22.00 to $25.00 per hour, this in-person position offers a high-energy, creative work environment where your organizational skills, social media savvy, and outgoing personality will help elevate our community engagement and marketing efforts. Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent required
  • experience in marketing, sales, events, hospitality, membership-based organizations, or community outreach
  • strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • ability to manage social media platforms and create engaging content
  • familiarity with canva or similar design tools
  • highly organized and self-motivated
  • must be comfortable engaging with community members in person

Job Qualifications

  • high school diploma or equivalent required
  • college coursework or degree preferred
  • experience in marketing, sales, events, hospitality, membership-based organizations, or community outreach
  • naturally outgoing with strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • comfortable managing social media and creating content
  • familiarity with canva or similar design tools
  • highly organized, self-motivated, and enjoys being out in the community and interacting with members

Job Duties

  • serve as a brand ambassador by building partnerships with local businesses, referral sources, and community organizations
  • generate leads through outreach, networking, events, and community engagement
  • manage and support a charter club membership program, including onboarding new members, maintaining member engagement, and enhancing the overall member experience
  • plan, host, and support social gatherings, club meetings, and lifestyle events that foster connection and engagement among members and residents
  • coordinate event logistics, promotions, attendance tracking, and post-event follow-up
  • support the sales team with tours, follow-ups, prospect communication, and relationship-building
  • manage social media (facebook, instagram, band) and create fun, engaging content that highlights events, members, and community life
