Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience in social or recreational programming
- Ability to use Microsoft Publisher
- Ability to use Microsoft Office
- Physical ability to lift, walk, and assist with mobility needs
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends
- CPR, AED, and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred but not required
- Experience in social or recreational programming, preferably with older adults
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Publisher
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Creativity and organizational skills
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Job Duties
- Dream up and deliver awesome events including clubs, workshops, movie nights, off-site adventures, and holiday parties
- Create and share monthly calendar, weekly reminders, and fun flyers to keep residents informed
- Manage supplies, setup, and logistics for events
- Promote outings by designing flyers, managing sign-ups, and building enthusiasm
- Work flexible hours including some evenings and weekends to support community events
- Maintain CPR, AED, and First Aid certification to ensure resident safety
- Engage physically by lifting, walking, and assisting residents with mobility needs
