Job Description

AvalonBay Communities is a leading real estate investment trust that specializes in owning, developing, and managing high-quality apartment communities across the United States. Founded with a commitment to creating a better way to live, AvalonBay focuses on providing extraordinary living experiences through its carefully curated residential properties that emphasize comfort, style, and community. With a strong company culture rooted in integrity, care, and continuous improvement, AvalonBay offers residents not just a place to live, but a lifestyle to cherish. The company stands out for its dedication to innovation in property management and customer service excellence, ensuring that every resident feels valued and supported.

The role of Concierge at AvalonBay Communities is a pivotal position aimed at enhancing the apartment living experience through outstanding customer service and efficient front desk operations. This role is perfect for a proactive and passionate property management professional who thrives in a dynamic hospitality environment and is committed to setting new standards of quality. As the face of AvalonBay, the Concierge will be the primary point of contact for residents and prospects, warmly welcoming them and ensuring their needs are met with professionalism and care. The Concierge will monitor foot traffic, address service inquiries, and implement programs that boost resident satisfaction, all while upholding AvalonBay's high customer service standards.

Working closely with the leasing office and maintenance team, the Concierge plays a vital role in streamlining the move-in and move-out processes and enhancing the overall community atmosphere. The role demands excellent communication skills, patience, organizational capabilities, and time management to handle multiple tasks efficiently. This position is ideal for those seeking to supplement their current work schedule or gain valuable experience in the hospitality and property management industry. While the shift timings will be specified later, AvalonBay encourages candidates to explore other concierge opportunities within the company to find one that best fits their availability.

AvalonBay offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) with company match, paid vacation and holidays, tuition reimbursement, an employee stock purchase plan, and a substantial discount on apartment homes for associates. The company promotes growth through recognition programs and internal promotion opportunities. AvalonBay is dedicated to creating an inclusive environment that values diversity and ensures equal opportunity for all employees. If you are ready to lead a front desk team and make a significant impact in the world of apartment living, this Concierge position at AvalonBay Communities is the perfect place to elevate your career while making a real difference in residents' lives.
