Job Requirements
- bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, arts administration, or related field
- minimum of two years of professional experience in marketing or public relations, preferably in performing arts or cultural organizations
- proficiency with graphic design and social media management tools
- strong organizational and project management skills
- excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- ability to analyze data and use metrics to inform marketing strategies
- capacity to work collaboratively across departments and with external partners
- availability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- legal authorization to work in the United States
- successful completion of pre-employment background and medical examinations

Job Duties
- create long-range and annual marketing plans aligned with season goals and revenue targets
- execute multifaceted campaigns using print, digital, email, and social media
- align messaging across platforms for cohesive, on-brand storytelling
- identify and target audience segments for productions, events, and community programs
- support strategies to attract new and underrepresented patrons
- collaborate on outreach strategies reflecting the City’s commitment to inclusion and community service
- oversee development of marketing materials including brochures, playbills, posters, and press releases
- create engaging content for social media, email, and website
- coordinate with internal staff and external creatives for promotional videos, photos, and stories
- serve as primary marketing contact for artists, agents, publicists, community organizations, and production partners
- act as liaison between the Playhouse and local businesses, sponsors, and event organizers
- maintain clear records of deliverables, deadlines, vendor agreements, and contacts
- provide data-informed recommendations to optimize audience reach and campaign effectiveness
- track and analyze key performance indicators such as ticket sales and audience engagement
- monitor marketing budget and maintain accurate reporting records
- protect and promote the visual and written brand identity of the venue and City
- collaborate with Community Affairs Officer on outreach and media coverage
