Located at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport, HMSHost presents an exciting opportunity to join their dynamic team as a Commissary Manager III. This role involves overseeing the commissary operations at a high traffic location where efficiency, food quality, and safety standards are paramount. As a Commissary Manager III, you will be entrusted with managing purchasing, food production and storage, and controlling food and labor costs to maximize profitability. You will lead a team responsible for ensuring that all food products meet strict quality standards, recipe adherence, and portion control in compliance with food safety regulations.
This is an exempt, full-time position, where you will directly report to the General Manager. Your leadership will be instrumental in coordinating daily delivery of food and goods to various units, training associates in equipment and food safety, and resolving complex operational challenges. The role demands strong vendor management skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diversified teams including executive leadership, union representatives, branded partners, and hourly associates.

Job Requirements
- 2 years of formal post-high school education
- 3-5 years of experience in moderately high volume and/or multi-unit food and beverage or merchandise operations or related management experience
- high level of computer literacy including expertise in Excel, Outlook and Word
- knowledge of product, service, quality, equipment and operations standards
- ability to interact with all levels of associates including executive team, union representatives, branded partners and diverse group of hourly associates
- ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence and policy documents
- ability to perform basic keyboarding or other repetitive motions
- ability to lift and/or move up to 20 lbs
- may require operation of heavy equipment
