Job Requirements

  • 1-3 years of professional baking experience, commissary or catering preferred
  • ability to follow detailed recipes and production sheets
  • strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • comfortable working early mornings and in a fast-paced kitchen environment
  • able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods
  • Food Handler's Certification or ability to obtain upon hire

Job Duties

  • Prepare and bake a variety of breads, pastries, cookies, and desserts based on catering menus and production needs
  • scale and follow recipes with consistency and accuracy
  • work closely with the Executive Chef and Pastry Lead to plan weekly bakes and production timelines
  • maintain a clean and organized workstation in accordance with health and safety standards
  • label, store, and rotate baked goods for event prep and delivery
  • assist in packaging and prepping baked items for transport to offsite events
  • operate commercial baking equipment such as mixers, convection ovens, proofers
