Job Requirements

2+ years of experience in commercial kitchen equipment repair or a related field
Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration systems
EPA certification or willingness to obtain
Must have personal hand tools
Ability to troubleshoot and repair equipment efficiently under tight timelines
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various kitchen environments
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel to client locations

Job Qualifications

2+ years of experience in commercial kitchen equipment repair or a related field
Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration systems in commercial kitchens
EPA certification or willingness to obtain
Good interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to explain technical issues to clients
Experience with preventative maintenance programs for commercial kitchen equipment preferred
Knowledge of HVAC systems and refrigeration preferred
Ability to work with minimal supervision and handle emergencies preferred

Job Duties

Diagnose, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on commercial kitchen equipment including ovens, fryers, grills, speed ovens, walk-in coolers, and dishwashers
Identify electrical and mechanical faults in kitchen equipment and carry out repairs in a timely manner
Communicate effectively with clients to explain issues, repairs, and maintenance needs
Ensure that all work complies with safety regulations and industry standards
Complete detailed service reports including repair work, parts used, and time spent on each job
Work closely with other technicians and the service department to ensure customer satisfaction and efficient operations
Participate in the on-call rotation to respond to emergency service requests as needed
