The company prides itself on setting the standard for service, training, and employee satisfaction within the commercial food service equipment industry. Nextech operates by combining unmatched technical training, comprehensive benefits, and a company culture that values and respects the skills and time of its employees. This company is known for offering a supportive and rewarding work environment where technicians are empowered to grow professionally while contributing to the success of the organization and its clients. As an industry leader, Nextech focuses on providing reliable and innovative service solutions to a wide client base across the country, ensuring that commercial kitchens remain fully operational and efficient.
The role of a Commercial Kitchen Equipment (CKE) Technician at Nextech places you at the forefront of service excellence in the commercial kitchen equipment space. This is a hands-on, dynamic position where you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a broad range of commercial kitchen equipment used by various clients nationwide. Working independently while backed by a robust support system, you will manage your daily work schedule, communicate effectively with dispatch and customers, and document your work accurately using company-provided technology. The position offers a competitive hourly wage ranging from $30.00 to $40.00 per hour, along with access to a fully equipped company vehicle and a comprehensive suite of benefits. Additionally, Nextech provides significant incentives such as sign-on bonuses up to $2,000, seasonal bonuses, tool allowances, paid training, certification support, and education reimbursement.
As a CKE Technician, your day-to-day activities will include performing service, repair, installation, and maintenance of various commercial kitchen equipment, diagnosing mechanical, electronic, and electrical issues, and ensuring all repairs adhere to manufacturer specifications. You will also play a key role in delivering exceptional customer experiences by answering questions, identifying service needs, and maintaining professional communication throughout the service process. This role requires physical stamina and the ability to work in diverse environments, including climbing ladders, working on rooftops, and handling heavy equipment. You will participate in on-call rotations for emergency service needs and contribute to a culture of safety, excellence, and teamwork.
Nextech’s commitment to its technicians extends beyond technical support; it includes a culture of recognition and growth, offering paid training opportunities and a clear path for career advancement. The company also takes pride in providing outstanding benefits such as multiple health plans, including a free employee-only option, dental and vision coverage, life insurance matching your annual salary, a 401(k) plan with generous company matching, and optional supplemental coverage for life, disability, accidents, and critical illness. Generous paid time off, paid holidays, and exclusive discounts further enhance the work-life balance for Nextech employees.
This opportunity is ideal for professionals who possess strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities, a positive attitude, and a commitment to craftsmanship. Nextech values individuals who can work independently, remain organized, and maintain a customer-focused approach under pressure. If you are looking to advance your career in a company that respects and rewards your expertise while providing excellent benefits and professional growth opportunities, Nextech is the place for you.
