Job Requirements
- FAA Part 107 commercial drone certificate
- Valid driver's license
- Operational personal vehicle that meets professional standards or willingness to provide an adequate rental
- Ability to lift 50 pounds
- Willingness to learn and work in a safety-conscious, professional team environment
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Safety conscious mindset
Job Qualifications
- FAA Part 107 Commercial Drone Certificate
- Valid driver's license
- Strong willingness to learn and work effectively in a safety-conscious, professional team environment
- Experience operating DJI Mavic 3 Pro/Cine/Enterprise or Skydio X10 drones is a plus
- Ability to work independently in a remote, flexible schedule setting
- Good communication skills for reporting and coordination
- Commitment to maintaining high professional standards and safety compliance
Job Duties
- Operate drone to conduct inspections of transmission and distribution utility assets
- Ensure safe and efficient data collection as well as successful upload of all collected data
- Follow Zeitview's standardized workflows and defined safety practices
- Maintain an unwavering commitment to professionalism while representing Zeitview in the field
- Travel to project sites primarily on the East Coast and select western states to perform drone inspections
- Receive and follow Statements of Work detailing assets to be inspected
- Complete approximately five specified shots per designated distribution pole above conductor height
