Job Description

AutoZone is a leading retailer and distributor of automotive replacement parts and accessories in the United States, known for its commitment to delivering outstanding customer service. With thousands of stores nationwide, AutoZone serves a wide range of customers including professional service providers as well as do-it-yourself (DIY) automotive enthusiasts. The company prides itself on maintaining a knowledgeable and friendly staff that helps customers find the right automotive parts and solutions efficiently. AutoZone's store teams are the frontline ambassadors of the brand, driving sales, maintaining well-stocked inventories, and creating a positive shopping environment through their expert advice and customer care.

The role offered is for a Delivery Driver, a critical position within AutoZone that ensures timely and safe delivery of automotive parts to both commercial customers and retail clients. This role is well suited for individuals who enjoy driving and working in a dynamic retail setting where excellent customer service is essential. Delivery Drivers at AutoZone operate company-provided vehicles, so no commercial driver’s license (CDL) is required, making the opportunity accessible to a wide range of applicants. This position combines safe driving skills with customer engagement, offering a career path with stability and various growth opportunities within an essential industry. Delivery Drivers contribute to the company’s goals by adhering to safety standards, maintaining efficient delivery processes, and fostering strong relationships with clients through professional communication and service.

As part of AutoZone's energizing culture rooted in people and a commitment to WOW! Customer Service, the Delivery Driver works closely with store teams and commercial accounts, ensuring smooth collaboration and operational efficiency. The role involves loading and unloading automotive parts accurately according to route schedules, processing returns and exchanges, handling cash and charge transactions securely, and maintaining delivery vehicles by reporting any issues promptly. This position is ideal for those who possess basic automotive knowledge, a valid driver’s license, and the physical ability to perform lifting and loading duties. Additionally, bilingual skills in Spanish and English or prior experience in the automotive retail sector are advantageous. Candidates with a Hazardous Materials (Hazmat) endorsement are preferred due to the nature of some transported materials.

Joining AutoZone as a Delivery Driver means becoming part of a respected company that offers not only a stable work environment but also supports employee growth through comprehensive training and career advancement opportunities. The company encourages enthusiastic, reliable, and safety-conscious individuals to apply and be part of the team dedicated to delivering an exceptional customer experience on every delivery.
