We are currently seeking a dedicated and proactive individual to join our team as a Full-Time Daytime Porter (Commercial Cleaner). This role is essential to maintaining the cleanliness and aesthetic appeal of commercial spaces during operating hours. The position is full-time with work hours from 10:30 am to 6:30 pm Monday through Friday, primarily at one of our largest car dealership buildings. We offer a competitive hourly wage ranging from $14.50 to $15.00, reflecting the importance of this role within our operational structure. As a Daytime Porter, you will handle a variety of cleaning and maintenance tasks that contribute to a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for employees, clients, and visitors alike. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and effective communication skills to report any issues or hazards that may arise during the shift. Additionally, candidates must have their own transportation and a valid driver's license to fulfill job responsibilities effectively.

Job Duties

  • perform routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting
  • clean and sanitize restrooms including toilets, sinks, and floors
  • empty trash receptacles and replace liners as needed
  • clean and maintain common areas including lobbies, hallways, and break rooms
  • monitor and replenish cleaning and restroom supplies
  • assist with minor maintenance tasks as needed
  • adhere to safety protocols and guidelines
  • report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor promptly
