Job Requirements
- Possession of a high school diploma or its GED equivalent
- Less than twelve months of related exposure in baking, pastry work, or kitchen settings
- Ability to lift, push, or drag loads weighing up to 25 lbs independently
- Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods
- Capability to bend, twist, pull, and stoop to reach overhead and below the knees
- Willingness to work on slippery or uneven surfaces
- Commitment to adhere to food safety and sanitation protocols

Job Duties
- Conform to standardized recipes and presentation standards while preparing and baking pastries, breads, and desserts
- Measure out, combine, portion, and get ready the components for the daily baking tasks
- Ensure the safe operation and maintenance of baking equipment and tools
- Keep an eye on ovens and kitchen machinery to ensure the precise cooking periods and heat settings are maintained
- Comply with regulations concerning food safety and sanitation protocols, such as appropriate food storage, maintaining personal cleanliness, and ensuring the cleanliness of the kitchen area
- Prepare and dismantle workstations in accordance with kitchen protocols
- Guarantee consistent food quality and standards with each batch prepared throughout the working period
