Job Requirements

  • Possession of a high school diploma or its GED equivalent
  • Less than twelve months of related exposure in baking, pastry work, or kitchen settings
  • Ability to lift, push, or drag loads weighing up to 25 lbs independently
  • Ability to stand, walk, and sit for extended periods
  • Capability to bend, twist, pull, and stoop to reach overhead and below the knees
  • Willingness to work on slippery or uneven surfaces
  • Commitment to adhere to food safety and sanitation protocols

Job Qualifications

  • Possession of a high school diploma or its GED equivalent
  • Less than twelve months of related exposure in baking, pastry work, or kitchen settings
  • Ability to follow standardized recipes and maintain quality
  • Good communication skills to converse professionally with team members and guests
  • Ability to maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the kitchen

Job Duties

  • Conform to standardized recipes and presentation standards while preparing and baking pastries, breads, and desserts
  • Measure out, combine, portion, and get ready the components for the daily baking tasks
  • Ensure the safe operation and maintenance of baking equipment and tools
  • Keep an eye on ovens and kitchen machinery to ensure the precise cooking periods and heat settings are maintained
  • Comply with regulations concerning food safety and sanitation protocols, such as appropriate food storage, maintaining personal cleanliness, and ensuring the cleanliness of the kitchen area
  • Prepare and dismantle workstations in accordance with kitchen protocols
  • Guarantee consistent food quality and standards with each batch prepared throughout the working period
