Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Meet minimum requirements for an ATP or RATP certificate
  • Prefer ATP written certification
  • Must meet current FAA and company minimum age and flight hour requirements
  • Ability to read and interpret technical and regulatory information under pressure
  • Effective verbal communication skills in English
  • Ability to remain calm and act appropriately in emergencies
  • Physical ability to perform job duties including lifting up to 75 pounds and adhering to FAA medical standards
  • Ability to work in noisy and outdoor conditions
  • Willingness to travel up to 100 percent including nights and weekends
  • Flexibility to work extended hours and varied schedules
  • Commitment to professional conduct and appearance
  • Must have reliable attendance
  • Ability to move freely about the aircraft and perform required functions under confined conditions

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Meet minimum requirements for ATP or RATP certificate
  • ATP written certification preferred
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures and governmental regulations
  • Effective communication skills with management, crew, passengers, and air traffic control
  • Ability to remain calm and react quickly during emergency situations
  • Prior customer service experience preferred, especially in aviation
  • Proficient in English including verbal emergency communication
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Capable of interpreting multiple instructions in various formats

Job Duties

  • Provide the Captain with proper planning of each flight utilizing weather reports and applicable regulations
  • Determine aircraft airworthiness through preflight inspections
  • Ensure flight is planned and fueled properly in collaboration with the Captain
  • Operate the aircraft safely and effectively during duty periods under Captain's instruction
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of equipment, regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Notify crew and passengers of turbulent weather and other operational factors
  • Complete load manifests for each flight
  • Assist the Captain in meeting report, departure, and turn times to ensure on-time operation
  • Assist in proper handling of aircraft, passengers, baggage, and cargo at the terminal
  • Maintain regular and reliable attendance adhering to company standards
  • Present a professional appearance following company dress code
  • Conduct self professionally and observe all rules of conduct
  • Continue ongoing professional training and development
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Company and Captain
