Job Description

Our company is a recognized leader in the wholesale and retail distribution of beauty supplies, committed to providing customers with access to high-quality professional beauty products along with exceptional customer service. Rooted in a purpose-driven business model, we celebrate diversity and foster inclusivity and self-expression, which fuel both our innovation and growth. We pride ourselves on welcoming everyone and providing an environment where employees can thrive. Our belief in finding beauty in diversity extends both to our team and the customers we serve, making our company a truly special place to work. Joining us means becoming part of a forward-thinking, passionate organization that is dedicated to excellence in the beauty industry.\n\nThe role of Color & Curl Concierge or Colour & Curl Specialist is pivotal within our company, acting as the steward to the beauty industry by demonstrating mastery in all things related to hair color and curl texture. This position blends talent development with technical expertise as well as skills in social media, business strategy, and sales. The Color & Curl Concierge maximizes sales by building lasting customer relationships, creating increased customer retention and loyalty, and driving brand awareness and the hair color market share. Through market analysis, the role includes introducing new products and concepts, conducting thorough product education both in-store and virtually, and offering specialized consulting services to professional beauty salons, barbers, spas, schools, and licensed cosmetologists.\n\nThis role is essential for driving the color and curl business, necessitating an ongoing commitment to education through online guided learning and certification courses. The concierge is the in-house expert, responsible for identifying customer needs related to color and hair care and delivering professional recommendations to ensure their clients’ needs are met. Responsibilities also encompass maintaining high standards in merchandising and store aesthetics according to brand guidelines, staying aware of emerging trends, and adapting personal sales strategies to remain competitive. The position requires effective communication across teams and with vendors, addressing customer concerns promptly, and managing store operational procedures including opening, closing, and sometimes monetary transactions. Embracing our company culture and ethical standards is fundamental, as is the opportunity to grow professionally in a creative, passionate, and supportive environment. Employees enjoy generous product discounts, free sample products, comprehensive product education, and various benefits such as medical, dental, vision coverage, 401k, vacation, sick leave, and holiday pay based on hours worked. This role offers a rewarding career path for those who are passionate about beauty and dedicated to delivering exceptional customer experiences.
