At Gerber Collision & Glass, the role of Porter is critical in supporting the overall repair process and ensuring customer vehicles are maintained in pristine condition. The Porter is tasked with cleaning customer vehicles before and after repairs, maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in both the shop and office environments, and assisting with the transport of vehicles to sublet locations when necessary. This position is essential in enhancing the customer experience through meticulous attention to detail and consistent upkeep of the work area. This is a full-time position offering competitive hourly pay ranging from $16.00 to $18.00 per hour depending on experience. Job Duties

  • Ensure consistent execution of WOW plan
  • maintain daily housekeeping of office interior including emptying garbage cans, cleaning floors, and dusting
  • maintain daily housekeeping of production area including waste disposal, sweeping, and organizing tools
  • maintain parking lots and grounds including shoveling sidewalks
  • pre-wash customer vehicles before repairs
  • clean customer vehicles inside and out after repairs
  • transport customer vehicles to sublet locations for repairs
