The Capital Grille is currently seeking an experienced Cold Station Cook to join its culinary team. This role is vital in maintaining the restaurant’s reputation for excellence by preparing, cooking, and assembling all cold food items, including salads, cold appetizers, and both hot and cold desserts. The Cold Station Cook also takes responsibility for prepping and preparing a variety of food items used in the restaurant's diverse menu. Beyond food preparation, this position requires attentiveness in stocking necessary ingredients and supplies in the alley and line to ensure timely completion of meal orders. The Cold Station Cook must rigorously adhere to food safety and sanitation standards at all times to ensure guest satisfaction and safety.

Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • prior experience in food preparation or culinary environment
  • knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation
  • ability to stand for extended periods
  • capability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • physical ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • must be at least 18 years old

Job Qualifications

  • Prior experience as a cold station cook or similar role
  • knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Job Duties

  • Prepare cook and assemble cold food items including salads cold appetizers and desserts
