This position is hourly paid with a rate of $17.50 and includes comprehensive benefits for eligible employees, such as medical, dental, vision coverage, and work/life resources. In the Cook position, you'll be responsible for preparing a variety of foods, measuring and maintaining ingredient quality, using kitchen equipment safely, and presenting meals that meet high standards. You'll also contribute by maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen area and providing excellent customer service with a positive attitude. Job Requirements

  • Experience as a cook or in a related role
  • knowledge of food preparation, cooking methods, and food safety regulations

Job Duties

  • Cooks and prepare a variety of food according to production guidelines and standardized recipes
  • sets up workstation with all needed ingredients and equipment
  • prepares ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, chopping, trimming, and peeling food items
  • safely uses a variety of utensils including knives
  • operates equipment such as ovens, stoves, slicers, mixers, etc.
  • bakes, roasts, broils, steams, and uses a variety of cooking methods on meat, vegetables, and other foods
  • arranges, garnishes, and portions food according to established guidelines
