Job Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in food production, manufacturing, or a related field
  • 1-3 years of supervisory experience in a food production or food service environment
  • Strong understanding of food safety regulations and standards (FDA, USDA, OSHA, HACCP, GMP, etc.)
  • Proven leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows-based applications
  • Ability to work in a refrigerated environment
  • ServSafe certification a plus

Job Duties

  • Supervise daily operations to ensure timely and accurate production and flight catering
  • Organize, schedule, and oversee shift staff to meet labor productivity targets and minimize overtime
  • Conduct daily team meetings to communicate goals, updates, and safety reminders
  • Ensure strict compliance with all regulatory and food safety standards, including FDA, USDA, OSHA, HACCP, and GMP
  • Monitor safety performance and proactively address issues to maintain a safe work environment
  • Identify, document, and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality
  • Lead, coach, and motivate a team of hourly employees, fostering a positive and productive work environment
  • Promote and uphold company values, policies, and management principles
  • Track team performance and take corrective action when needed to meet production and safety goals
  • Support and implement company-wide initiatives such as Lean Manufacturing, HACCP, Quality Systems, and Employee Safety Programs
