The Coffee Shop Team Member role at Aramark is a full-time position designed for individuals seeking a fast-paced, social, and rewarding work atmosphere. As a Coffee Shop Team Member, also referred to as a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing specialty coffee and tea drinks, assisting with food preparation, and delivering exceptional customer experiences. Your role will involve efficiently handling payment transactions through register or POS systems, welcoming customers warmly, and anticipating their needs to ensure satisfactory interactions.

You will strictly adhere to Aramark's protocols for making and serving beverages, cooking and serving food items, and maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in the coffee bar or retail area. The role requires managing cash drawer operations, including organizing funds, completing cashier slips, and making deposits, all in compliance with company policies. You will also be responsible for setting up and breaking down workstations at the coffee bar, ensuring surrounded areas are organized and clean for an optimal customer environment.

A key aspect of this role involves maintaining workplace hygiene by regularly disinfecting equipment and following recommended food and drink handling procedures to prevent health risks. You will keep a well-stocked inventory of beverage coolers, grab-and-go options, serving tools, and condiments to ensure smooth daily operations. Additional responsibilities may be assigned by supervisors to support the overall success of the coffee shop operations.
