Job Requirements
- Less than high school education or equivalent experience
- six months or less of similar or related work experience
- ability to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or verbal instructions
- ability to do simple addition and subtraction
- ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions
- strong focus on customer service
- ability to maintain personal hygiene and dress standards
- ability to work collaboratively with team members
- willingness to report to work on scheduled days and on time
- physical ability to perform medium work including lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally
- ability to perform physical activities such as climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, fingering, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions

Job Duties
- Provide prompt, efficient and friendly customer service by exhibiting caring, concern and patience in all customer interactions
- smile and greet customers in a friendly manner
- make an effort to learn customers' names and address them by name whenever possible
- assist customers by escorting them to products, securing out-of-reach items, loading or unloading heavy items, noting and passing along customer suggestions
- answer the telephone promptly and provide friendly, helpful service including taking customer orders
- take customer orders at the counter
- work with co-workers as a team to ensure customer satisfaction and a pleasant work environment
- handle food safely and ensure the work area is always clean and neat
- review food status and appearance for freshness
- ensure an adequate food supply is ready and follow production lists
- anticipate daily product needs
- prepare and replenish products as necessary
- check in product, put away product, and review invoices as needed
- operate department registers and manage payments where applicable
- remove trash in a timely manner
- maintain personal hygiene and dress according to guidelines
- adhere to company policies and store guidelines
- report to work on time as scheduled
- wash dishes as necessary
- order products and supplies as needed
- price products for customers as necessary
- assist in other store areas as needed
- perform other job related duties and special projects as required
