Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- One or more years working as a Barista in specialty coffee or two or more years in non-specialty high-volume coffee environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Experience using a Point of Sale system
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 40 pounds
- Willingness to maintain grooming and uniform guidelines

Job Duties
- Follow Bluestone Lane recipes and presentation standards in a timely manner
- Manage coffee shop equipment and tool cleaning and maintenance daily and periodically
- Follow Bluestone Lane operating procedures and processes including completing transactions accurately and following safety and security measures
- Dial espresso machines to maintain consistent extraction matching Bluestone Lane brew ratios
- Educate, train, and acclimate new baristas into store and system
- Contribute to and build upon innovations that improve store workflow and speed of service
- Foster a cohesive team environment and encourage the culture and vision of Bluestone Lane
- Report supplier issues promptly to General Manager or Area GM
- Deliver high-quality beverages efficiently
- Perform inventory management including coffee product rotation and ordering to minimize waste
- Interact with customers positively using enthusiastic communication
- Maintain cleanliness and restock condiment stations regularly
- Complete store opening and closing procedures accurately
- Ensure grooming guidelines and health standards are maintained
- Provide fast and accurate service at the POS station
